Fantastic venue for most winds. Longest track is 2.4km "Around the mountain" (Cricket oval) with a loop past the rugby club. Two ABC members have discovered that blokart's don't float. Lake Mako is bottom left, Lake Orca on the right. (The bigger rectangle is fenced netball courts).
ABC's new venue is a 5 minute drive away at Ardmore Aerodrome.

5 minutes drive from BPP access is via the RTEC premises, Corsair Lane off Airfield Rd. This venue offers a tarsealed runway experiance. The ABC usually meets here at noon on a Sunday and on Thursdays from 5pm during daylight saving hours.

Waitarere beach is about 20 minutes north of Waikanae, landyachting is restricted to an area that starts 500m north of beach entrance at Waitarere town and extends up to Foxton, which gives us about 7km to sail. The Capital lcub run their marathon here around a couple of cones 5km apart.

Pegasus Bay & South Brighton Beach. Great when the E or ENE is blowing white caps. Best beach width is 0.5 meter tide or less. The Brighton Spit to the Waimakariri river is 20km's of prime Canterbury blokart highway!
